Kala‘i Stern is a Nā Hōkū Hanohano award winning recording artist with a diverse background in Hawaiian music, choral music, and theatre. He has worked with many distinguished organizations including Honolulu Theatre for Youth, Hawai‘i Pacific University International Chorale and Vocal Ensemble, the Honolulu Boy Choir, and Hawai‘i Opera Theatre. Kala‘i has performed extensively throughout the state of Hawai‘i, on the U.S. mainland, and internationally in Austria, Canada, China, and Japan.
